 BWY Foundation courses in Wales

BWY FOUNDATION COURSE (level one)
Applications are now invited to attend a  BWY Foundation Course commencing January 2010 – introductory day in November 2009.  This course will be held on the last Saturday of every month, for a period of 10 months, of six hourly sessions.  The venue will be Goytre Village Hall, near Pontypool/Abergavenny – GWENT.  Easy access from M4 and all major roads.
If you have a minimum of two years yoga experience and wish to deepen your knowledge of this ancient system of self improvement for personal reasons, or maybe you wish to train as a yoga teacher.  If so, this BWY Foundation Course (which is a requirement prior to the diploma course) is the one for you.

BWY Teacher Training Diploma Course with Debby Wilkinson
Starting in January 2010. Venue is near Devizes in Wiltshire within easy reach of the M4 and M3/A303 and is in tranquil surroundings. Only 90 minutes from Cardiff.
Meetings held monthly, a mixture of Saturdays and non-residential weekends over two and a half years.

 First aid training for yoga teachers

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING FIRST AID TRAINING
First aid training is now the responsibility of the BWY teacher and needs updating every three years. The course must be a recognised First Aid at Work course which will be of FIVE hours duration. From 2010 the First Aid trainings days no longer count towards CPD points but it is part of the health and safety aspect of teaching yoga and a necessary aspect of keeping up to date. BWY Insurance will be invalid if one's first aid certificate is out of date. Thanks, Elaine Powell, RTO
