There is now a monthly Ayurvedic clinic in Llandeilo with Anne Mcintyre she has been a practicing herbalist for 20 years. As well as western herbalism she has trained in massage, counseling, aromatherapy and ayurvedic medicine all of which she, incorporates into her practice. Ayurvedic philosophy and fundamental principles
Prakruti (natural constitution) and vikruti (imbalance)

Merging yoga and Ayurveda with a focus on lifestyle and diet

This is a Personal Development Module for BWY teachers and students and for teachers recognised by the BWY.

The day will be participative and involve lots of small group work and some asana/pranayama. A detailed knowledge of the text is not required, just having read it, which does not have to be recent. BWY FOUNDATION COURSE - STAGE 1
Venue: Rhiwbina Memorial Hall, Cardiff Tutor: Ann Lewis
The Foundation Course focuses on basic practical techniques and personal development taught in the context of the philosophy that underpins yoga. This 60 hour course is for yoga students who have a minimum of two years experience with a suitably qualified yoga teacher. Although the course is a recommended precursor to the BWY Teacher Training course, the Foundation Course is also for students who simply desire to study yoga more deeply and establish a personal practice. There will be an Introductory Session on May 11th 2008 followed by one Sunday per month for 10 months.
