Q. Can I practice yoga when I'm pregnant?

A. The practice of yoga during pregnancy can have a very positive effect on mother and baby. Empowering the mother to take an active role during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. There are many benefits to be gained as well as a general feeling of wellbeing. There is a British Wheel of Yoga pregnancy training module for yoga teachers. It is advisable to find a teacher who has completed the module.
It is always wise to check with your doctor and/or midwife before you begin.

A. You must let the teacher know because some postures are unsuitable.

A. Yes but please tell the teacher.

A. A style of Yoga named after BKS Iyengar, who is a great teacher.
